I have heard many different ways of getting rid of varroa from putting it into the feed for the bees to putting it into tea bags (dont know how this would work well).

My question is, what is the best way of treating varroa with thymol crystals?

is there any preferred methods of treating to thymol?

Thanks in advance

Hi. The most easiest method is to use one of the three approved treatments - Apiguard, Apilife Var or Thymovar, but you can also make up your own - there are recipes for thymol patties findable on this forum via the search button.

As to which is best, its down to personal preference but all of the above will do a job.
