I'd be a bit hesitant at putting that photo of a frame with black comb and only a few bees on it as an advertisement. I'd tell beginners that that comb was ready for a change-black comb, empty and at the edge of the colony.
The jar of honey looks lovely. Makes my labels look a bit amateurish.

We do not use the UMF rating as it is trademarked by Comvita.
It means nothing anyway, it was just a spur of the moment thing they thought up on the way in to a business meeting to make it sound more scientific - imitating the then new system of giving sunblock cream an SPF rating

Yes I did. Quite keen to try it. Looked so easy. Better than faffing with seed
looked no more or less of a faff than seed going by David's blog, and as I don't have any OSR honey that needs to be made into somethingh that looks edible I'm not 100% sure whether I wand clotted honey :)

None of my honey from last year crystallised. I have one jar left and it’s completely runny and devoid of crystals. Perhaps I will get some that crystallises this year. I would like to try making soft set.

Just buy a few jars from off the shelf of another’s osr some have even been known to use some of the NZ clover. No problems doing this for yourself or friends.

I had a lot of dandelion. Crystallised really quickly

Reported in the same thread to work well with blossom honey.
At least this way you don’t have to melt every last existing crystal
