I'd say that's very likely. I can only think of one other word that's an anagram of the answer and it wouldn't give you a correct letter in position four.

I found this one very tough though. After attempt 3 I really struggled to think of any word that would fit the information I already had. Even after I'd got it I wasn't really sure it was a genuine word, but according to my dictionary it is, with a meaning that fits the only context I've ever known it used in (which I'd always assumed was an abbreviation, as it happens).

Given a different set of initial words it might be blindingly obvious of course.
