Mine were out by 9am. Been busy all day. My phacelia has been so busy it sounded like a swarm. Amuses me how blue the pollen is!

The hard frosts are here now, the car has been white for the past three mornings and all the birds water is frozen around 1in thick.
Yesterday i was taking a bit of scaffold down and i found a docile Queen wasp under a fitting, i took her into a building that is to be demolished and placed her on the window sill to warm in the morning sun 10 minuets later she was flying about looking for another spot to hibernate.
