I bet that was an amazing experience. Thailand has changed so much since then

Hi. I live near Khon Kaen. Do you need to move your hives quite regularly?

Not much, Sometimes we move our colonies from Chiangmai to Chiang dao, towards the end of the lum yai season, as the flow goes on for longer there and the subsequent maize crop provides good pollen.

Oh.. and if hornets or bee eaters become impossible, then we might move them around a bit.

Especially where I was!
I was in a little village near Pattaya which was a fishing village. It is a huge city now! The school I taught in is still there though!
Go back occasionally.
Good luck with your bees
