I wouldnt attach one to my hive however I have set one up in my brasica cage after 2 cauliflowers managed to decapitate themselves and run away
however it is on a blank, I am sure the culprit will have to double up on her tenas next time she strays in
Oh you can buy an adaptor which will fire the 13mm distress flare, it pains me to say this but we have a duty of care to tresposrs and theives so I would avoid projectiles, and make sure the blank will not throw debris up at the offendor.
