Many of the colours aren't as bright as I would like, but the coverage is good and I apply with a mini-roller. I just buy the little tins so that I can get a variety of colours on the cheap......on poly it will do more boxes than you might expect. Rustoleum do a similar range.

Rainbow paint is the first choice.
Exterior grade obviously as a second.

Diy stores sell paint for garden furniture so thats worth a look
