KING Charles is cashing in on worker bees at his royal estate — by selling honey for £15 a jar.
The King charges £14.95 for his 170g honeycomb.
The 170g serving of honeycomb is harvested from hives kept at his country seat.
Buyers are told: "A Taste of Royal Luxury Indulge in the purest essence of nature with our
exquisite British honeycomb harvested straight from the hives of Highgrove Royal Estate.
"Crafted by industrious bees foraging among the finest wildflowers and hedgerows,
this honeycomb offers a truly unique and delicious taste experience.
"Sourced with Care, our honey is produced in exclusively commissioned, handcrafted, double-walled beehives.
"These unique masterpieces provide the perfect environment for our bees to thrive
and produce the highest-quality honey.
for Every Occasion Breakfast Delight: Elevate your morning meal with a slice of hot-buttered toast
or a pastry topped with our decadent honeycomb.”

It was simply a comment on a TV programme. I am completely ambivalent. His majesty’s and my paths never cross.
You never know, as a honey producer he maybe on this forum under a pseudonym - so your sterling endeavours as a Super Moderator might qualify you for a gong - Dame Dani maybe......🥇;)

Sell anything once it getting em back again (& again) that’s the trick

Don't you technically also have a very tenuous claim?
no, I have a definite claim albeit on the wrong side of the blanket much further down the line being descended from Hywel Dda, patriarch of the Tudor line. Henry VII's claim to be Welsh however is now considered to be pretty dubious and he only claimed to be Edmund Tudor's son to gain support from Welsh noblemen. Margaret Beaufort claim was through John of Ghent, who was just a byblow. and as for Henry being the son of Edmund Tewdur, many now think not and that he was just a grudge baby (somebody had it in for Edmund) once he won at Bosworth he never acknowledged Wales again and his son, Fat Hal did his best to kill Welsh language, culture and unique system of laws which dated from Hywel ap Cadell as well as trying to wipe out our ponies.

And tonight I learned that Hal is short for Henry! Didn't know about the ponies. Your history knowledge is impressive.

So are you going to rally the forum for support to your claim to the throne?

well he has a horde of compulsive grovelling forelock tuggers who are happy for him to steal even more cash off us
There seems to be an income from the various building projects royals undertook and sales of Chinese made souvenirs. 🤔

Now that's marketing.
No, just twaddle (which comes to the same thing).

Sourced with Care
Pointless confirmation of fact as if 'Sourced Carelessly' would be a reasonable alternative (and why is care given a capital C?).

delicious taste experience
Delicious taste would suffice, but in twaddlespeak sufficient is never enough.

Another silly naughty-but-nice word used to seduce the nation to belay self-discipline and descend into obesity. Who cares, so long as business benefits and the NHS picks up the bill. Last night in the bath I watched TV footage of cricket Test matches from the 70s; what struck me most forcibly was that the crowd were almost universally slim.
