Rootit heat mat thermostat

I've been looking for a plug and go Thermostat for a warming cabinet,
I've come across this To use with a 12" tube heater in a large old display fridge (type you'd get in a shop full of drinks ) 4 shelves and can fit frames in for warming before extracting.

Inkbird do something aswell . Im luck as i built my own for my brew fridge so can use that .

Been there, done that. Take the above advice. Why re-invent the wheel, it does what it say's on the box.

Not being an electrical person,I'd not even know how to wire one off these type, that's why I'd go for the plug in type. Simple as that.

OK .. I understand .. but they really are very simple to wire up - if you can put a plug on an appliance and read the London Underground map and get where you want to then you could manage to connect up and STC 1000.

Here's a 'complicated' installation instructable which includes both heating and cooling circuits (you would only need the heating side). As you will see, it's not rocket science.

A 1 foot sized one of these will do the job unless your cabinet is huge:

My warming cabinet is for 2 x 30lb buckets, ill be building it this week similar looking to the one thornes sell.

Would a one foot 40w or 60w bulb be better for this?
