Inland, Lipik. These weeks we have temperatures above 30celsius, they prognosed some rain ( as I should believe them it is raining from yesterday here - they are joking with us..).
The most west I were was Spain and France, but heard a lot of your climate..

Forgot to put some newer picture..

I drove from Zagreb to Sarajevo in August 1968 ... cross country, it was a bit rough back then ! Then down to Mostar, Dubrovnik and back via Split, Zadar and Rijecka ... When we got to Split we heard on the news that the Russians had invaded Czeckoslovakia ... and there were rumours that they were going to carry on ... we headed back up to Austria as we were a little worried that the next stop was Yugoslavia and Tito (as it was). I had been to Rijecka and had driven down the coast in both 1966 and 1967 all terrific adventures in those days. You still live in a lovely area and I love your apiary !

Thanks.
These are lang hives ( but as I learned more important is type of beekeeper), the most used here. Main forage for my area ( I am stationary) is black locust ( Robinia pseudoacacia). But moving to the west or east there are more other great forages ( lot of here are transporting hives from forage to forage - for these purpose is superb " AŽ hive" in the container).
This was brief description.:)

Out apiary where my "less friendly" colonies are kept. However, the midges at this location are more troublesome than the bees!
