17 nucs....
I have been playing about again and this is the result ... i have been thinking of a way to gas the 6 frame poly Nucs with Oxcalic Acid without melting things and this is what i have come up with.. the bed that the heating pan sits on is plaster board which is fire proof so no problem with burning that... the channel in the middle makes sure the gasser does not wander anywhere (the thick power leads have a mind of there own) .. so basically the vapors will travel up through the open mesh floor where i want them to go...

The vape tray is A symmetrical!
Obviously for a reason ?

Because the Payne's polynuc OMF is asymetrical.

I use this for my Maisies polynucs - just set it up on a convenient hive roof or the metal tray I insert for full size hives, close up the nucs and move them over on to it

It's very obvious why its offset if you have a Paynes poly nuc....they are asymmetrical with a feed chamber on one side.

I've been meaning to make something up for OAV, might try something slightly different.

I don’t have a Payne’s poly nuc !
Chill out ! The question wasn’t directed at you in the first place !
Find a dog to kick !

Do you find that vapour introduced below the open mesh floor is as effective as above ?

I answered your question....what on earth's your problem? Wrong time of the month for you?
In future I'll shall tell you go and play with yourself if this is how you respond to help.

I started thinking it might not be as there was always lots of residue underneath so I bought a sublimox to vape through a hole in the back of the floor above the omf

Yes and you have no chance of frying the Queen.

I have tried both ways but. Always concerned when deploying same over the omf!
It is obviously the safer option. [emoji846]

My attitude!!!!
I was being helpful and answered your question explaining there was an additional feeder on one side and you start throwing a hissy fit.
Go play with yourself pond life.

Now added to my ignore list.

Your answer was provocative . It started with a question “ if you have a Payne’s Poly nuc etc. You would know “ .
Then you resorted to sexist insults which I’m sure the ladies reading you posts would be well pleased with !
You’re last retort again relying on your base instincts !
As I said ! Change your user name !
I could suggest one but don’t intend lowering myself to your level of discourse !
