How long was it heated for ? It would take quite some time to increase the HMF at 50degrees.If soft set honey is overheated to about 50 degrees, does it just resort back to ‘runny honey’. It was left on the heat too long at around 45-50 degrees unfortunately.
Yes but it’s still ok, just runny. If soft set honey is overheated to about 50 degrees, does it just resort back to ‘runny honey’. It was left on the heat too long at around 45-50 degrees unfortunately.
It would set with it’s natural crystal size (whatever that is) or tiny crystals if you seed it with soft set starter.so it would set again as ‘soft set’ with tiny crystals?…or just crystalise as normal honey
It was probably overheating for 2-3 hours. How long was it heated for ? It would take quite some time to increase the HMF at 50degrees.
