I've just completed a change over to 14x12, there are 4-5 frames filled with brood and the rest being filled with honey, there are also 2 supers on, one being filled the other only placed on yesterday, problem is they are making up queen cells off which i have knocked down, i have a spare 14x12 box but didn't want to make an AS as i have just done that with another hive which gave me a small nuc and the start of another colony, what are my options obviously i don't want to loose them as a swarm, how can i get them to move the stores up freeing the frames for egg laying.

If you still have your drawn national frames and hive box put it on below the existing hive.

I've observed bees in the past couple of weeks rapidly running out of space to store nectar especially if there are not enough young bees to build comb.
