It was a good day .. listened to three excellent lectures, caught up with a good few people I knew and some I didn't ..

Resisted the temptation to spend £165 on a really nice solar wax melter on the Abelo stand ...mind you ... I think if I had one this summer it would have spent most of it's time in the shed ! Regretted it all the way home but not sure I could find anywhere to hide it ... Mind you, if I didn't have to go to work tomorrow I might have been up there again to buy it - there's a very strong pull !

A steam wax melter might be a more appropriate buy though !

Well….. did a quick flit round the trade stands. Driving back to our hotel we followed a fire engine which neatly pulled into a bus stop on our nearside. Just as neatly the chap behind the driver threw open the door as we passed. Absolutely side swiped with a huge hole in the bonnet and a gauge all along the offside of the car.
We can limp home to Wales but I suspect the car will be written off!
Bloody water fairies - not much behind the ears with the current lot probably.

Sorry I missed you. Philip had a sign seeing Beekeeping Forum.
One of our members reccied us but kept away till I had gone…… sigh.
Likewise, but we were sort of late-ish... Still, saw a few people. Sorry to read of your mis-hap.
Summary of the show for me? Lots of kit, prices dear. ( I was looking at processing equipment, not hives, frames or nukes)

The big boys have got their seconds at sale prices. Gill from Thornes told me they have a sale starting Sunday.
Some brilliant lectures. Martin Giurfa has done 2 amazing ones.

Good job you didn’t go today, traffic home on the A3 was hideous!

What time did you leave as the A3 was pretty normal when I left.
It was going that I had massive traffic problems and an accident about four cars ahead - took me over two hours to get there - coming home last night was a breeze. Good show though I hope you enjoyed it.

I always do, I decided I wouldn’t go today as none of the lecture descriptions inspired me and I’d bought everything i needed and thought I’d avoid anymore temptation. 😁
