- More than I used to have.
I have some supers which were taken off my hives earlier in the year that are going mouldy - they were originally the 'halves' of brood and a halves. (Horrible system!) They are I think about 2 years old and too good to chuck out as drawn comb is always in short supply. Any idea how I can stop the mould? I know the bees will clean them up but it surely must be better for them to have clean comb. I intend to treat them with certan along with the rest of my super frames.
