I wonder how many minutes the bees will take to propolise up that mesh?

Clearly a ready market for top ventilation ... I'm going to have a word with JBM and see if he will give me a hand to cut some holes to sell on ebay - better than these from Thornes - you can have ours in any size you like - they will fit any crownboard or any type of hive .. all you need is a saw or hole cutter to insert the holes into - can be delivered electronically to save on the postage... here is my prototype in progress... Does not include the cut out piece - just the hole. Price - only 25p each ... paypal accepted.

I rather feel that there may be a sense of humour gap between the UK and Finland .... Indeed, perhaps a chasm ?

Never mind, appreciated by some, hated by others, ignored by many ... Happy days !

A novel little invention. Simply place in the bee escape openings over winter and close up the holes - instant ventilation.

waste of money, they won't vent air for very long and soon be covered in propolis, so you could say not as described or not fit for use. Sh!t idea would be a better description
