If you follow the guidance of administering when the temperature is between 4 degrees and 10 degrees C. You shouldn't need a beesuit.
Follow the guidance.. ? . i think i would ignore that advice, 1hr 30 min my hive is from me, check the weather to be on the safe side 8c (brilliant) get there and the weather is wrong, it say's 10c on the mercury but the bees are flying in the sunny spot, WHAT do i do leave them and drive all the way back, i think not.
What about in August when they need gassing do you leave them because the temperature is over 15c, i DO NOT.

Famous last words. 6 out of 7 hives were really quiet, but the seventh came out en masse. It was cold and I was suited. Learnt too many times about " not bothering to dress up"
:iagree::iagree: .. I do not go fully suited this time of the year, just the veil and jacket, they can sting my hands and legs as much as they want, however i got stung in my ear hole 2yrs ago and i definitely do not want history repeating its self..;)

I bought a couple of zip front jackets with veils last spring as i found post op it was inconvenient to climb into my full suit. When worn with a pair of ASDA cheap denim jeans and wellingtons I haven't had any stings reach my legs either from my bees or the association stocks. Much easier to slip on or off. :)
