Broke down this afternoon (turbo).
AA kindly arranged for recovery. Tow truck didn't seem to be able to haul a 2 tonne landie up a hill. Probably a write off. I'll struggle to find a replacement like it.

as long as no one got hurt that is the main thing. Surely if it was on tow then the AA are responsible for it?

Glad no-one hurt, but almost certainly the AA's fault, if it was on their truck. Also possible grounds for prosecution of the driver by the police for insecure load.

That's the landie being insecure on the tow truck not the honey being insecure in the landie :)

I had heard that they were heavy on the steering. Hope all ok Chris, apart from the obvious.

I'd be gutted if that happend to my defender,,,only people with defenders understand :( sorry m8

well thats a stupid place to park a landy if you ask me.:eek::eek:

as i always say, as long as people walk away i dont care about any thing else. anyone and everyone else is unreplacable a car means nothing, its daft but the write off for next to no reason.

if you ant got a replacement and need running around let me know i will pop down to ya,

and when do you plant the new saplings:smilielol5::smilielol5:

Poor 110!

Try to buy it back - the replacement panels are not going to cost the earth and you already know the Landy. It's be a pain to source another.

I hope the AA waive the callout fee...

id say thats a 90 teemore looks to short for a 110...might be my eyes:cool:

Nah, roll it up the right way, fix the turbo and drive off. People who off road them do far worse than that, then drive home in the evening

It won't be bent, the bodywork on that side will be mullered, but second hand bits are cheap and you can get the whole thing resprayed quite cheaply.

If they write it off, buy the salvage back and take it to a specialist.

In my defence only see them on 4 wheels :)

Buy it back and ask for comp from AA as they were in charge of it when accident happened. Get it fixed and Bob's your uncle.
