You knock on the big heavy oak door

Come in.

You shuffle in. There's only a chair desk and sofa. Sofa it is then for you

I have observed how much paranoia exists in the beekeeping community...

Pulls up chair nearer to your sofa

Why don't you lie back and tell me about when you were little...

"So, how do you stop your bees from flying away, do you close the doors to their hives?"

"Can you talk to bees?"

"Do you have a name for all your bees?"

"Is the queen bee a sex addict?"

i) Agree - far too many totally unfunny posts peppered with LOL. If you LOL so much in reality you would end up in the back of a white van wearing a net.

ii) people who loose things....argghh its lose!

"bee's"

*sigh*. We can expand this to the general use of an apostrophe to indicate a plural. The plural of bee is BEES, no apostrophe.

I dislike it when someone says " I Hate it when someone says"

after all, Hate is the opposite of Love, both pretty strong emotions, and I can honestly say I don't hate anything or anyone!!

Well I bloody do! e.g. Gordon Brown, Nick Clegg, Sunderland etc etc

Number unknown?

The bees know what they want.

Yes, I've given up thinking about it, it's the road to madness:

I only know 2 uses of an apostrophe .
1 a missing letter and 2 ownership but then again I'm ignorant :conehead:

For me, it's "Got any honey yet???" whenever my neighbour sees me in the garden.

NO!!

OK while we're at it. I hate it when only is put in the wrong place.

I blame my English teacher at school. He was a ranting madman over grammar and pronunciation once leaping over a desk to throttle a classmate who couldn't pronounce Grosvenor correctly. I can still see his purple face

I may not be 'lol' but I am chuckling - I had no idea that you all had such a sense of humour.

"I've just seen your Queen bee, quick, quick, come and see"
"Hmm, are you sure its a Queen honey bee?"
"Oh yes! It's definately a Queen, it's big and fat and huge. Quick before she flies off"

We go out side to investigate whilst I am worrying myself about a lost Queen from a swarm

"See there she is - Big, fat, huge, hairy and ROUND"

Is it Queen, or queen? I have been gramatically scared by my old English teacher and the flying board dusters and chalk ...
