i have dyslexia of spelling and maths, but i hold down a full time job andwork hard at it too. i just have to concentrate a lot!! by the evening i am running out of patience so the level of accuracy slips... ah well!!
what annoys me?
"thats a stupid question" if it was i would have got someone else to ask it... smack!!!
why do you want me to do that? well because i have asked .. if i said duck would you ask or would you duck... smack
apart from that life is easy errrr not!! i find more and more i am failing to understand society... and some people and the way of life ... oh well ...

By the way using an aitch at the beginning of aitch when spelling something out loud is not just irritating, it's infuriating! It is especially so in the North West where I live because you should be dropping the real ones, never mind adding spurious ones that aren't there!

Not a hate, just a giggle

I work with lots of American people and lots of Indian people. When the American people would like to remove something from a document, they suggest we "strike" the non-required section. This took me a while to get used to. Even more disconcerting is when the Indian people remove the offending text and report that they have "stroked" it.

I like it so much, I have never corrected them
 
People who write :
"to" when they mean "too"
" there" when they mean "their"
"off" when they mean "of" ( including both words together " off of" )

Language changes from generation to generation and often sooner !
If I lapse into dialect my grand children look incredulous and ask me to repeat it in English please!
I have the advantage of understanding their machinations of standard English whilst they are in the dark regards mine :)
