Reached the top of the garden this morning and the words, "Good morning girls" died on my lips. What am I supposed to call them now? "Ladies"? Yuk. Should I know them all by name, would that do? Don't think so, I've only named one - Griselda the guard bee, (after Griselda Wormold - don't ask). Oh, and the two queens, Juliet and Jezebel, except that they are both in the process of being superseded. I can hear howls of derision, but come on, confess, I bet lots of you have given your queens names? No? Hmmm
