That would be my thinking also. A letter was sent to my association about it, but when I had never heard of anyone using it. I wondered was it a new product.
I suppose time will tell, but why would bees need iron was what I thought also.

Where were tests being carries out a number of years ago on the iron content of imported honey, I am not sure whether it is a problem when you can have a deficiency yourself.
