Maybe previously covered elsewhere .... But .... What is the difference between oxalic acid used as a GRP cleaner or wood bleach sold as crystals (C2H2O4) and the stuff we buy as crystals for varroa treatment (apart from price)
Hard hat on ...
Uniform delivery price is a bargain for 25Kg. And it would last several lifetimes. Or I could do mine and all the hives in the Greater London area for a couple of years . Just that Mistral are obviously set up for bulk quantities. If I want 50g or 100g, and I'd probably give half of that away, there are plenty of suppliers charging a couple of quid to post it. Or I might be passing by Wynne Jones in the next couple of weeks.Mistral is where I get mines from....bought 25Kg

I bought 5 kg and it should keep me going for a couple of years. 85 stocks to treat next week when it arrives.
Younger beekeepers might ask "what is a telegram" as there hasn't been any in the UK since 1982
85 hives need 150 g.
good.
An Dalmatian went to a telegram office, took out a blank form and wrote, “Woof. Woof. Woof. Woof. Woof. Woof. Woof. Woof. Woof.”
The clerk examined the paper and politely told the dog: “There are only nine words here. You could send another ‘Woof’ for the same price.”
“But,” the dog replied, “that would make no sense at all.”
