I think it's a tough sell to say that honey should be vegan.

I am a dedicated carnivore but generally vegans have my respect as they're at least fairly consistent. With the way milk and eggs are produced these days the vegetarian agenda lacks credibility.

you presumed correctly. 10 seconds after putting it on, I changed my mind and tried to delete it but it didn't work.

If I had had any respect at all for PETA in the States (and I don't) it would surely have gone out of the window when they tried to claim that a macaque monkey had copyright of an image because the photographer had his cellphone snatched by the animal and it accidentally took a picture of itself. The man who's camera phone it was it has been fighting PETA for a couple of years and I am pleased to say that this week he won his case. People, Wikipedia for example, used the PETA lawsuit to use the image without payment to the actual owner of the camera. The man had travelled across the world to get pictures of these animals at great expense and deserves his royalties.

Before anyone claims that indeed the animal does have copywrite bear in mind that if this frivolous lawsuit had been upheld where else would it lead? Lend your camera to someone to take a picture of you, the owner, and they would have copywrite and could sell your image across the world. What if you used a self-timer on the camera? Does Nikon, Canon etc. have copywrite, or even the camera itself?

Interestingly, PETA wanted to act as agents for the monkey if they won and administer the monkey's financial income from any use of the photograph; nothing suspicious there, oh no, not at all. :nono:

Another case of 'just because you can, doesn't mean you should'.
