Ferrel colony

Found my first Ferrel colony yesterday in a busy public park right next to a play ground, I just happend to be keeping an open eye for bee's and spotted a few all flying in a line so followed only a few feet and found them in an oak tree amazing how hard they when to spot they where very dark bee's, I didn't hang about long as I didn't want to give them away to the people that where 10 - 15 feet away playing with their kids etc, must say it made my day

Do wonder how everyone would of reacted if they knew they where that close and how many would of been allergic...
