sadly, no more!
If the beekeeper who was interviewed on Farming Today this morning is a member of this forum, may I offer him my congratulations. I thought you did an excellent job, in only a couple of minutes, of putting across the concerns regarding disease, pesticides etc, without a hint of drama or overkill. The sort of performance that might actually make people listen.

For those who may have missed it, I hope the interview will be available on iPlayer soon - it is worth five minutes listening.

Another fascinating piece - this time on disease and the creation of a sanctuary for native black bees in the Scottish isles - this morning.

Must remember to listen to them again when I am more awake.

If anyone misses these on the the iPlayer, let me know as I may be able to play them down the phone from my PVR if you PM me your email address. ;)

Just listened to it. Really good. May be the government should use a few more isolated areas to breed our black bee. Thats if they take us seriously which I doubt very much.
