But many studies, including our own project of small cell combs, show that small cell by itself doesn't control Varroa. However Lusby said from the start that it is 1/3 genetics, 1/3 small cell and 1/3 correct nutrition.
One thing is for sure and that is we are witnessing evolution in action:
Varroa vs Apis mellifera and **** sapiens. Looks like the last 2 are loosing the battle. However, were Varroa be allowed to wipe out its host, it itself would be destroyed eventually.
