And especially me...when my mother died, i was bought up by my Plain Quaker Grandmother ..She being born in 1898 was a different generation with a devout quaker veiw on life

So my quaker grandmother excluded me from any grammar school biology lessons and paid for the RI teacher to give me bible studies instead

Am i now creationalist No
Do i now beleive in evolution yes
Am i still a member of the Society of Friends (quakers) No

what other effects, well i don't swear as much as other people and as i have never had any biology lesson BBKA module 5 exam is a nightmare to me

So did i read Theology at university as my grandmother wanted me to do..no. my degree is in Physics

I never did biology, either, but only because I would have had to give up art to do so.

Look from wikipedia
I have and is says Gravitation, or gravity, is a natural phenomenon, not an answer, the truth is know man knows or fully understands, string theory has been mentioned but after some extensive reading................no chance !

Adam and eve were vegetarians, it was only after the flood that man/women started eating meat

I saw the lady boy from across the road in the kebab shop last week, unashamedly tucking into a lamb shish.

Fall, possibly?

Antediluvian period, according to best guess from Bible perspective 1600 to 2000 years, ie from Adam to Noah. Little detailed record in bible of this period, except first 6 chapters of Genesis. No prohibition on eating meat, does that mean they did? Probably. It is only when we get to Noah that it is actually mentioned, if I remember correctly. Hard to know what climate was like before the deluge, probably more tropical and lush. Folks lived substantially longer. Bible record infers that vegetable diet was common at first, but just because it doesn't say something it is not the same as it saying something, if you know what I mean? People assume because Noah was told to eat meat that people before the flood weren't allowed or didn't - that is not a logical conclusion.

(and I said I was out of this thread ... Now I know how PH feels)
