Oh dear.

we flood more or less every year somewhere in england. I was caught up in the Sheffied floods where a couple of people lost their lives. You soft southeners probably know nothing about that as there was barely any coverage on southern news as they were too busy covering a street in london that had a puddle bigger than usual.,
was it last year when england flooded?

Just two questions- if the globe flooded, where's the water now? And given that there are around 10,000,000 animal species in the world, many not found in the middle east, just how did Noah save all the world's animals, and in a boat less than 150m long?
The story of Moses is generally reckoned to be a re-hashing of the story of Utnapishtim in the epic of Gilgamesh, dating from around 2,000 BC, where the details of the ark are similar, but it is due to bickering between the gods- Enlil trying to destroy humanity, and Ea trying to frustrate him.
The origin can be looked for in Mesopotamia, where flooding was a regular occurence, and anyone with the resources would put their family and livestock (or at least breeding pairs) on a raft until the flood subsided.
By the way, how are your bees?

There are probably better things to fall out over on this forum?
Hi Ray we don't fall out....... not very often we just exchange ideas and thoughts I am not a creationist or a evolutionist just thought where do honey bees come from, it all got a bit heated, all arguments have two sides but some have no endings.Hi Tonybloke and Pbee (and others). Been around for a while but not written much yet. When I have a bit more experience with our first hive I may have more to say about bees.
Regarding evolution - something I am called on to teach on occasions - the 'gaps in the fossil record' are being closed all the time.
Apart from that I have a number of religious friends but none of them creationists. We discuss religion and creation etc. but manage to do so without falling out.
There are probably better things to fall out over on this forum?
