Hi all - before I get overexcited and call in the inspector, I would appreciate opinions on the pictures below. On inspecting today I found these diseased /deceased larvae on one frame of a recently swarmed hive. They are collapsed to the bottom of the cell, have a grey patch (at the head ?), and are, well, snotty when removed. I did this to see if they were stringy - which they were not. They also do not have a foul smell. I have consulted Hooper, and can draw no meaningful conclusions. Thoughts most welcome. Thanks in advance. Craig.
