today i checked my brood box one of the frames had a few dark grey cells -can u remind me what this is -UFB ?:eek:
 
This time of year most likely rosebay willow herb? We have lots. Is there much around where you live?

hi ILLO -NOT SURE WHAT ROSEBAY LOOKS LIKE -PLENTY OF HEATHER STARTING TO COME OUT -AND THEYVE BEEN ON THE CLOVER BIG TIME -THANKS FOR QUICK REPLY-
 
Tall thing with loose pink upside down ice cream cone of pink flowers on top. Common on waste land, verges, railway embankments etc. Google images is your friend....and the pollen can make the brood on the other side of the brood frame look a bit alarming too.
