gave my bees second brood box to play two weeks ago, checked last week - frames were built and some brood in middle frames. Had a look this afternoon ( because they refused to build the super ) and found that the upper brood box was 95% full of honey... tried to get them off from smith frames to nationals but seems to be failure so far, got to spin the honey out first now added super and QE under the full brood box.will see what they do.
Got also three hives on OSR, supers are filling fast..

If your super has drawn comb then bruise the cappings and put the top brood box UNDER the bottom one, with Qex and sup on top.

If foundation well just take it slow.
