The hovercraft like hum in the evening is about the best sound you will ever hear
You can learn a lot by the sound of the colony. I think it is the phobic in me that makes me really sensitive to changes ithe pitch of the hum.
I have a Bluetooth speaker, I have been wanting to see how the bees would respond to music. So I took it out today and turned on some Tom Petty. They flew pretty heavy around the speaker, but only one bee landed on it. What's your thoughts or experiences with this?
Try wearing a pair of Y front and a pair of pink wellies while blasting rave music the next time you open your hive, will you video the dance moves for me please.
I wouldn't know, I have an appreciation for classical music. However I am not a huge fan of classical. I am a lyric person, and always have been.
kazmcc - what difference in sound do you notice when getting to the frame the queen is on?
