A/s to Q+ colony

Have a colony which needs an A/S within next 2 days
Can you unite the Q- half straight onto a Q+colony headed by a this years queen after knocking down all queen cells without too many implications

I have done it twice over news paper with no problems, but not with a new Queen mind.

I split a hive a few weeks back, then split another hive 10 days ago. I have merged half of the Q- brood from the new split (minus QCs) onto the first Q+ "new" colony and intend to put the second half into a merge with the other new Q+ in a week or so. No issues so far, 3 colonies from 2 originally if all goes well.
Currently got 3 laying queens in colonies and a QC I am waiting on hatching and mating.
