My friend and I recently started a new website which we thought your members might be interested in. It's a place where members of the public can list their stolen items. We were fed up with having stuff nicked from our rural farms and decided to do something to help ourselves - and others.

You can find the site at.***************

[oops, looks like the spam filter has got you]If you had asked first if you could post your link I could of turned the filter off,Admin.

Good luck with your project.

Pity someone stole the link. Make sure it is advertised on the site so if anyone finds it they can return it.

On a more serious note, I thought of doing this once for lost cats and dogs. Then decided I didn't like cats enough and one just for dogs would be speciesist - or something like that.

I even went as far as registering mymissingpet.co.uk - but it has lapsed now.

And I still prefer cats to stay lost providing they keep out of my garden.

NB: Not all of the above should be taken seriously.
