Wood Honeycomb Coasters / CNC

I Have a small cnc machine in the woodshop/garage and thought id have ago at some honeycomb coasters today. Tried a few plywood scraps and hopefully they'll look well when I use some decent oak or pine. Any thoughts and anyone else undertaken any similar projects...

They look good, and functional too - Very nifty!

Can you cut recessed pockets rather than right through? Then they will catch drips too. Love them though. I'd buy them.

I really like those! A larger size would be good for pots too.
