The honey room gets dismantled to de-stickyise the extraction aftermath.
After that its like the shopkeepers wardrobe in Mr Ben.
It was a chainsaw repair shop last week
Ive been running up a fry spawning net on the sewing machine for swmbos koi pond today.

Multifunctional I like it , sounds like your a man with many talents .

I'm a hobby keeper. My honey room is my kitchen. I have abandoned all things bee (apart from here) to retain my sanity and get on with real life.....
Service will be resumed in August, likely

Ours is a nightmare!!!!, run out of buckets of honey and had to put a barrel in the warmer yesterday.
2000 jars went out just last week, struggling to keep up with candle orders, fortunately we are a bit quieter this week as Wendy is banned from Shrewsbury Farmers market by the organisers because I have a mental health condition (EUPD), they are not at all tolerant of disabilities, but that will be dealt with by an old man in a wig next year.
Still have around 150 candles to go out and around 700 jars. Only three more fairs to attend.

This years lambs ?
What breed are they ?
Yep, December born, Hampshire Downs.
Only a small flock, 4 lambed so far, 5 ewe lambs, 4 ram lambs running total, 5 ewes left to go.
No major issues so🤞the rest will come along with no issues.

Left the extractor tap running slowly over a bucket and sat down to finish a bottle of Landlord, forgot, wandered back in and found 15lb of honey on the floor (at midnight).
Oops!! 😱😱😱
I've been close to overflow a few times too!
Trying to make myself close the honey gate if I leave it to do anything else.

Extracted three supers. Seemed wrong to extract unsealed honey, but it was all well under the 20% threshold - mostly 17%.

Makes the "uncapping" really easy too. I did the same recently but put a few frames back at 18%+, I'll get it later!

Some of my frames were not capped fully but passed the shake test , are folk finding spring honey to be viscous this year .?
My three supers produced 67.4 lb between them that’s good for up here on the clee.
@Sutty those frames at 18+ would of been fine .
Mr poot snap!

My spring honey is runnier than usual but probably be ause it is warm. More cloudy than usual.
I think I may be getting some honeydew this year as the bees are all over sticky leaves.

I wouldn’t be surprised if there isn’t a lot more honeydew about this time with this humid weather , did you have rain yesterday we did hear not really enough to fill the water buts but enough to water the plants.

None yesterday but threatened for this evening

I reckon its happened to all of us at some point, usually several times a season for me 🤣🙈

Like @enrico my Spring honey is more runny than usual. It’s really odd as it’s quite runny, mainly uncapped, but at 17%.
Also quite cloudy. The supers had the odd frame half filled and four frames in one super were capped up to halfway across, all on the same side.
