Bloody slow extracting honey is like glue! anyway apiary three almost finished just got clearers on three hives left there.

Mine is brown and sticky, (and the honey!) setting to a jelly like consistency really quickly . Tastes great though

Mine is the same hardly any light honey this spring it has full flavour though almost a molasses taste.
Apiary two almost finished
As always I’m extracting each super sedately.

Spending this week processing honey and extracting the last of the heather .

Got some nice natural soft- set which after putting the spoon in it for a few minutes it has a lovely consistency and it’s nice and smooth and creamy to taste.
Also the heather isn’t falling out of the jars

Customers prefer it that way. A lot of them find pure heather too strong

I was talking about my blend. Yes Heather is jelly. That’s why it’s a pig to extract. I had a bucket you could do that with never mind a jar
