Try under the omfHad a try at a thermal imager, not sure if I'd get that much use out of it!!!!!
And you need to take an image a little distance away of a side not facing the sun in the morning.Had a try at a thermal imager, not sure if I'd get that much use out of it!!!!!
Took advantage of the mercury getting into double digits here to add some fondant.
I spent last Sunday clearing stuff out of my garage .... had a lot of it out on the drive thinking I would have more room when I put it back ... couldn't get it all back in and ended up with it looking worse than when I started ! How does that happen ?Almost felt colder today at 5C than it did when it was in the minuses - just grey and still and damp feeling so just tidied up a bit in the garage - barely noticeable in looks, but no doubt when I need something I won't be able to find it now.

It was the same here.- it felt clammy cold with no sun. Working in the sunshine at minus whatever was more comfortable.Almost felt colder today at 5C than it did when it was in the minuses - just grey and still and damp feeling so just tidied up a bit in the garage - barely noticeable in looks, but no doubt when I need something I won't be able to find it now.
That’s because you hang on to everything - “it’ll come in handy one day”. Sometimes you just have to be brutal and get rid.I spent last Sunday clearing stuff out of my garage .... had a lot of it out on the drive thinking I would have more room when I put it back ... couldn't get it all back in and ended up with it looking worse than when I started ! I know ... but .. much of my 'sfuff' is surgically attached to me and I know your are right that, as soon as I get rid of it - I will need it or find a use for it as soon as it has gone. I don't keep rubbish but with several hobbies - some of which require big machine tools and lots of materials ... it all takes space and what's worse, when you run out of spare space it is difficult to keep things tidy. That’s because you hang on to everything - “it’ll come in handy one day”. (That‘s what always brings on the day you do actually need it!)
Dear God ... I've got three sheds, a double garage and a 20' square workshop ... I think anymore would provoke immediate divorce proceedings or me being banished to one of my external environments !Nah, you just have to build another shed

too true - only a year ago, almost to the day I was having a tidy up of the chamber of secrets and ended up with a big stack of sawdust covered offcuts of OMF mesh offcuts squirrelled away as 'one day, they might come in handy', they ended up in the bin of stuff ready to go to the scrap metal skip when next I had a chance of going to the recycling centre (they were still following post covid appointments only system at the time) A month later, the new stores/workshop shed arrived, the builder mentioned the importance of not blocking the three inch vents all around the roof eaves but suggested I may want to make them beeproof, but had no idea what to suggest. a quick scrabble in the scrap bin and when he turned up to finish the job the following day, he was amazed at how I had managed to get all the 'bespoke' mesh inserts delievered at such short notice! That’s because you hang on to everything - “it’ll come in handy one day”.
