Good grief! It's nearly four times the price of their standard stuff. Why on earth are you doing that?
Special bees deserve special fondant .... I'm serously considering adding gold leaf flakes to my fondant - probably cheaper than the orgasmic stuff.

It’s what I’m to feed the bees , not my choice
Did he give you a reason and did you try to dissuade him/them ? ... At the price it's almost more cost effective to feed them honey ... which they would probably prefer anyway ! Even it if's not organic honey .... and they made it themselves.

Your boss has more money than sense then. Does he realise that the fondant will be the only organic food his bees eat? The rest is not organic.
Because they are a regenerative organic estate im feeding organic fondant same as using an organic varroa treatment, im also not buying foundation or hive body’s as all will be made from wood sourced on the estate all wax will be processed and foundation made from our own wax.

Not quite the same price , reasons below

It looks as though I might be able to make something like that work. I might even be able to get away with two rows with brood frames on the one closest to the wall where I can't walk anyhow and super frames more towards the middle. I shall have a tinker tomorrow.

By the time you have added in processing, jars, labels, time involved and buggeration with heather honey you would have been better off and the bees would be eating what they have made !.... or if they are that intent on being regenerative ... get rid of the beekeeper and let the bees get on with it...

As for Organic Varroa treatments ? Well ... if you are treating them can you really call that organic ... check out the Soil association website and see what they allow.

Utter nonsense ..

At that price better to give up the bees and buy someone elses honey any way.

In which case they shouldn’t be feeding the bees at all.
What organic varroa treatment are you using?
