When you bring nationality into a stupid remark it is racist, whether you like it or not.
You obviously think it's fine.

I had a colony that came from a shaded, damp location. It had chalk brood.
I moved it to an open, sunny location. it still had chalk brood.
I had an apiary that was in a damp shaded area near a stream and there was no problem with chalk brood.
That's what I've found.
As for the silly, racist comments?
hmmm, actually it isn't racist as Welsh and English (and for that matter scottish) are all Caucasian.
Don't talk such absolute rubbish - or are you saying you know better than the supreme court?

I wasn’t picking a fight and it was meant to be light hearted but as you jumped on my comment.....
Race in this sense is a flimsy human construct with no clear and absolute definition. In its common current usage is extremely divisive as we see here. I would still argue “welsh” is not a race. Celtic is but then that makes you and Hopit and a fair few French, Irish and Scottish folk close bed fellows so “Welsh” won’t swing it for me.
Nationalist? Perhaps but it’s all getting a bit too Farage and Tabloid News.
So, as I said at the end of my last comment, which was the take home message you disregarded, it really is time to move back to what is happening in the apiary.

Statler and Waldorf -
Yawn. Fair enough, on reflection you and your mate are more like Statler and Waldorf - arrogant bullies that are ultimately toothless Muppets.
I think Bigot is the word you're struggling to find.
Glad you admit to it - first step in you rejoining the human race.
Whats F2's please? To get back on topic.....checked a Snelgrove II swarm control. And blow me down they are tearing the queen cells down in the top box just as he describes; and the response in the queenless bottom box is like supercedure with only a few queen cells being drawn, fortunately a few from the frame of eggs I gave them from the queen I want to re-queen them to (they are currently F2's and a bit feisty....not garden bees).
Very clever man that Snelgrove. Despite having the wrong theorem on swarming he got the nuts and bolts just about spot on.
