B Special
New Bee
Hi all. I have only the brood box inside my WBC which fits inside two lifts which leaves room for a feeder that came with it. The brood box is packed with stores and the girls are still coming in with pollen. Removed the third lift today to reduce the space inside as I used this to keep the apiguard treatment in. Is this ok to do with regards to air circulation, temperature etc ? I removed the varroa inspection tray last week and have put the syrup into the feeder even though it has not been touched.
Is there anything else one should be looking out for or should be doing at this stage with the WBC ?
........and when does one decide to place the mouse guard on ?
Cheers all.
