I did the same exercise and as has been said you are into very large sheets and lots of it?
I found it was cheaper to buy it from STB

Ask around, you're looking for a local steel stockist, if they don't have it, they'll know who does, I heard a name mentioned recently (I'm sure it was here in Ireland) but can't remember; the price quoted MUST have been wrong, about a quarter of the price the meshcompany quotes... but maybe you could make that kind of a saving?
What about using the Plastic Mesh instead, on Amazon? It should be rigid enough, if not you could place a small strip of wood underneath to strengthen it. I saw it in B&Q and also Doobies, measured it at around 3.15mm (yes I measured it, I had a digital vernier in my pocket).
An1 know where I could get rolls of mesh that would suit varroa screen floor
Ridgeway sell 8x4 sheets for €20 excl VAT, another €15 for delivery. Based in Meath. Can't post the link but google Ridgeway beekeeper mesh.

It works out at €20 for 10 national screens and 7 nucs per sheetBy my reckoning that's €42 for 10 sheets.... works out about the same price as STB but with the hassle of cutting it up.
I do sometimes use Aluminium modelling mesh for nucs. It's not as strong as steel but very easy to cut comes in a handy 3x0.5m roll and is reasonably cheap.
