Recently our Indesit Tumble Dryer stopped working.
I suspected a broken belt (which it turns out is correct),
so I went on line looking for tips how to replace it.
Found the following
It put a smile on my face, so I thought I would share it:

Dismante whole dryer , you can even loosen three drum sscrews (inside tumbler) to get a bit more distance. Place machine on its back and you will see some vents slats just below the motor. Feed your old broken belt through these slats and around the new belt (already on the drum). Get wife out from infront of tv . Sit on floor and pull old belt as hard as you can until wife says that you have reached the spindle. Wife must then push new belt over spindle. Give her a thin hammer otherwise she will break nails and fingers . Only problem with this technique is that you will have to speak to wife, and she will take credit for fixing machine. Good luck

He was right about dismantling the whole dryer
I currently have it in bits awaiting delivery of the new Belt.
I just hope I can remember how to put it all back together when it does arrive.
:(
