Actually this play was very weak with quite a high chance of 6, plus scoring got it wrong at turn 1.
If I had more time I'd be looking at that scoring code...

Ahhhhhhh, at last all the new network kit is working together. Weird that one old router failed just as I got a new link working... replaced it this pm and all is fine.

It must have just gone hurumph! (And maybe the routing tables changed)

It does the right LED flashing patterns but does nothing useful beyond that when I do the various factory reset actions. Having just setup its replacement with the same model just a new replacent I'm feeling more confident it failed (timing very odd just as I got the wireless link working, maybe an earth loop or static) but maybe I can use the USB port in it to reload firmware or summat like that, if I need another router...
Still, feeling content (smug?) I'm finally getting 100Mb throughput out here down at the end of the garden.
