25% off, plus further 10% off for subscribing, made it worthwhile and same price within £5 of what i paid in 2018

previous one bought in june 2018 is still ok although some of the internal webbing has deteriorated at the knees...will use it as my strimming suit

would have posted in 'what did i do in apiary today' but didnt want to incur the wrath of hawk eyed 'off topic' accusers, since i purchased it in kitchen not apiary :)

Really good suits but they insist on changing the zipper design on the veil, that's the third version I've seen since I bought my first one.
I have a seamstress repairing my worn out veil because the zip closure on that one became obsolete. The spare veil I bought would not fit as that veil featured a double zipper that both began at the rear of the hood. This new one has a continuous, circular zip run with both fasteners on the same run, which means the spare I have won't fit this suit either.
I have no complaints with the suit itself as it's so much cooler to wear but suits last for years so I do wish they would settle on a standard zipper fastening and stick with it.

good point....i am always surprised how the suits come with two hoods though....that is helpful

havent had the full length leg zip before and hope that isnt a weak point, i had no trouble with original version

Take a look on their site for spare veils. They fit easily to any Ozarmour suit .... only buy if your suit has the same fastening as that shown in second picture.
Bit of a contradiction but best to be aware. Yes it's good to have a choice of veil.

Worth letting them know.
Yes I did that the first time and they replied, saying their site does state to only buy if the zips match etc. When I asked how I get a replacement for my original veil, I was simply told it was from an old suit that is no longer available. I held off on forking out for a new suit until my veil became desperate for repair, I will have to contact the seamstress and see how the repairs went.

Really good suits
Not had experience of either of them, but wondered why Oz are £180 and the BB Ultra £400. The Oz is cotton-polyester (origin of manufacture unknown) and the BB polyester, but made in the UK.

Any significant differences of quality between the two?

The BB material resembles more the Old Castle Farm type, it looks padded. Ozarmour suits look more like netting and it's much cooler in hot weather but a few people have mentioned damage by brambles.

I got 1 of the StB breathable beesuits, just before he sold up.
Bad decision by me. Bees get in it easier than me. 🙄
Is the Oz suit better (if anyone knows).

That's a shame.I also picked one up at that point in time and have had no issues with it at all. The only modification I have made is to strategically add gaffer tape to the rear join where the zippers meet.
