I have very kindly been given a loan of one of these and on looking at it thought... hmm.... I hae ma doots ya ken... but.
It is just excellent. Grips the end of the logs so that they can be cut right to the last log. No odd awkward lengths to be done by hand. The vibe from the chain saw seems to make them grip tighter if anything.
I am so taken with it I am off to Kelso this morning to buy one for myself.
I have looked at a fair few log grippers promising this and that but this one actually works.
