There is one at the bottom of the home page if you are not aware of it and there are bees for sale. I note though with some disappointment that there is no interest in any of the nucs for sale.

Is no one still looking for bees?

PH

I am aware of that thread but I am wondering how many are aware of the Auction site which exists to sell bees as E*** will not.

Thanks for the heads up though.

PH

I was totally unaware of it until recently the button is a bit hard to see, It's free to use I wonder why more people are not using it?

It's here

Maybe a bit more info in some of the ads would be more beneficial.

People have used it in the past the problem is people seldom visit to see whats for sale and as a result people stop selling so even less people stop looking. Threads like this can only help to point people to items on the site.

Once the bees are settled down for winter I plan to move the banner/work on/promote the auction site.

Mark.

Interesting situation at present on the Auction Site perhaps a bargain to be had or a number of people playing it cool?

At this rate someone will get a bargain I think (it's not me unfortunately!)

The reserve is indeed not yet met, so no bargains from this vendor...lol

However a chap appeared yesterday to enquire about nucs and is collecting tomorrow two bonny five frames of brood National Nucs with this years queens.

I moved them into travelling boxes today and they sat on the comb and yawned. Lovely to work with.

Reserve not yet met, so difficult to say if a bargain is to be had

I missed that bit to, shame its just advertising then. I do like the thrill and chase of an auction ever since my grandmother took me my first one some years ago now.

I've looked at the auction site a few times but there is hardly ever anything on it in my experience, so I don't really bother looking anymore.
Perhaps people are using the "other" auction site?

I hope you are not suggesting I am "just advertising"? If so you could not be more wrong.

I have bees for sale, and they were for sale today up to this afternoon. I seem to be one of the few who actually do sell on the auction site here.

However if you want to pay silly money then look elsewhere as I have my standards and selling a bouncing five frames of brood nuc for £60 odd is just not going to happen.

Bless lol

I think that it's just one of those things. I was told about b4b before I found this site, so was already bidding on one there when I found the forum. Had I found this first, chances are I would have bid here. Maybe next time?
