Test Frame result

I honestly find it hard to believe that a test frame produced cells with a queen in residence. I am not saying it's impossible just unlikely.

I wonder if there was an incipient cell on the test frame to begin with?

Anyway you have a virgin on the go which is the result desired so all is well.

I sincerely hope this thread is being read by the moderation team.

Test Frame Technique

Just to reassure over the years the test frame technique has stood me in very good stead with two results, negative has been a virgin or very recently mated queen in residence and positive has been queenless.

No need for the waters to be muddied by what if's. The results for me have been conclusive over hundreds of occasions.

Thanks PH - The whole point of good beekeeping practice is that there are very few what if's. The what if's arise because the beekeeper can't figure out what has gone wrong - human error in husbandry and ignorance usually. I plead guilty.
