I did try to ask a different question elsewhere about makeing sticky boards with Vaseline but that isn’t allowed
Ah, that will be the thought police.
Maybe too dry a sense of humour?
A bit of lubrication would sort that out

maybe he's thinking of WD40
But then, anything in an emergency - maybe that's what the little red straw is for?
Sir Robert Augustus Chesebrough, (January 9, 1837 – September 8, 1933) was an American chemist. He discovered petroleum jelly, which he marketed as Vaseline, and founded the Chesebrough Manufacturing Company.
But in an emergency I prefer silicone oil.

I would sing you the second verse of Dinah, but then that would definitely lock this thread
You can get this thread locked just for thinking that thought let alone committing it to paper .... or at least the digital world .... oh no ... I said digit .... there's no hope now.

Maybe if we just say finger instead, then.

Yes we better watch it
Now syrup……Weight to volume, volume to volume or weight to weight ?

I think that you have in the sugar bag the weigh, for example 1 kg. Not one litre, or not one gallon. So it is easy to add xx kg water to 10 kg sugar.

But you can use even a hat as measure: 2 hat sugat and 1 hat hot water. But still you had the weight of sugar, because supermarkets do not sell sugar to hats.

I use as a measure 1 pulsator loundry machine.

I wonder, how it is possible to make this thing so many ways. Even how to take water from tap is under discussion.
